The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, November 11, 1992 Obituaries FREDERICK GRACELY Frederick Lawrence Gracely, of Machell Avenue, Dallas, died Nov. 8, 1992 in the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in 1902 in the East End of Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Augustus and Sofia Stabell Gracely. He was employed for 30 years by the Lehigh Valley Railroad, qualified as both freight and passenger conductor, retiring in 1969. He and his wife began the first English riding instruction academy in the Back Mountain, the Five Acres Stables on Machell Avenue, Dallas in 1947. He was a 32nd degree Mason with 60 years fraternity. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. He was a member of Prince of Peace Episcopal Church, Dallas. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Ellen (Mamie) Gracely, on Dec. 5, 1991. Surviving are several nieces and nephews. Anna M. (Baran) Baranowski, 71, of North Thomas Ave., Kingston, died Nov. 9, 1992, She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Knapic Brozena. Surviving are her husband, Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 140 N. Main Street, Shavertown, with the Rev.John S. Prater, rector, of Prince of Peace Church, officiating. Interment will be Greenwood Cemetery, Trucksville. Hospital.
