TWO CAR COLLISION ON WEST CENTER According toKingston Township Police, light damage occurred when a Chevrolet Nova driven by Christian Kloss of Hunlock Creek collided with a Chrysler LeBaron driven by Patricia Rish of Dallas. The accident occurred on October 16 at 8:34 a.m. According to Kloss, he approached the Burger King exit on West Center Street, and stopped prior to entering the roadway. The police report that after looking both ways, he did not see another car and continued forward. Kingston Township Police report that when Kloss entered the roadway, he struck Rish's vehicle which was traveling east on West Center Street. Randolph, 17, of RR 1 Dallas was involved in a one-vehicle accident Friday, October 16, shortly after 11 p.m. Police said that Ms. Randolph's car, traveling south on Ellsworth Hill Road, rolled over after it slid sideways while it was rounding a curve, coming to a stop on its tires in a drainage ditch. The car sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene, police said. Patrolman Alan investigated the accident. Dallas Borough REAR-END ACCIDENT ON ROUTE 415 According to Dallas Borough police, a 1989 Pontiac Firebird operated by Robyn P. Saxton, 22, of RR 5 Dallas, and a 1989 Dodge Ram operated by Earl Henry Shott, Jr., 56, of RR 2 Muncy, were involved in a rear-end accident Thursday, October 15, at 9 a.m. Police said that both vehicles had been traveling south on Route 415 near the Machell Ave. intersection, when the Shott vehicle stopped for traffic. Ms. Saxton stated to police that she stepped on the brake pedal to slow down, but her foot slipped off, causing her car to strike the rear of the Shott vehicle, according to the report. Gorka was transported by the Kunkle ambulance to Nesbitt Hospital, police said. Judge denies Spock's motion to dismiss charges Luzerne County court Judge Patrick Toole on October 15 denied a request to dismiss bribery charges against former Harveys Lake assistant chief of police Ronald Spock. Luzerne County assistant district attorney Ingrid Cronin said that the defense argued that the state had not made a sufficient case against Spock is accused of accepting a television set as a bribe in exchange for dropping a DUI charge in December 1991. The Lakeview Terrace resident has been suspended without pay since his arrest in June.
