At that time, it is expected that retail, service, manufacturing, food service and medical committees will be formed, and plans will be made for a holiday promotion or event. Any business or professional person who would like to join the association may call any of the officers for information, or send $75 for a one-year membership to: Back Mountain Business Professional Association, P.O. Box 25, Dallas PA 18612. The Back Mountain Business & Professional Association elected officers and a board of directors at a general meeting September 21. Bartt Slocum was elected president of the organization, Joseph Mooney vice president, Fran Ochman secretary, Stephanie Reisch assistant secretary and Marianne Williams treasurer. Each will serve an initial two-year term. The 12 member board of directors includes the officers, and John Lloyd, Bruce Rosenthal, John Gager, Elva Valentine, Nancy Eckert, Ron Bartizek and Paul Provenzano. Six board members will serve initial terms of two years and six will serve one year.
