She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Gaughan. She was preceded in death by brothers, James and John. Surviving, are her husband, William H.; daughters, Mrs. Carl Zoolkoski, Mountaintop; Mrs. Robert Meskers, Shavertown; sister, Mrs. Charles Eldridge, East Stroudsburg; two grandchildren. Interment, Oaklawn Cemetery, Hanover Township. RICHARD DISQUE Richard H. Disque, 77, of Memorial Highway, Dallas, died Sept. 17, 1992 at home. Born in Parsons, he was the son ‘of the late Henry John and Sarah + Keats Disque. A resident of Dallas ~ for the past 70 years, he was a graduate of Dallas Borough High where he was an All- Scholastic football player. He was a graduate of Eckels College of Mortuary Science, Philadelphia. ~ Hewas founder and president of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home ~ Inc., Dallas, which he started at its ‘present location in 1953. He was a ~ member of the Dallas United ~ Methodist Church. He was a 50- year member of the Luzerne County Funeral Directors Association, the ~ Pennsylvania Funeral Directors ~ Association and ther National . Funeral Directors. He was also a - member of George M. Dallas Lodge ~ 531 F.&A.M.; Caldwell Consistory ~ ALAS.R., Bloomsburg; and Irem Temple A.A.O.N.M.S., Wilkes- Barre. He served as a deputy coroner in ~ Luzerne County for 50 years. He served Dallas Borough as building inspector for many years, later becoming a memer of the borough Zoning Commission. He was a member of the Dallas Rotary Club, and the International Order of Odd Fellows, Oneida Lodge, Dallas. A member of the Keystone Carvers, Plains Township, he recently became very accomplished in carving life-like waterfowl. He was preceded in death by - brothers, Kenneth K., in 1989; . She was a life member of the League of Vand A Association. She ~ was employed as a buyer for the former Isaac Long Department Store, Wilkes-Barre, and was the proprietor of the Villager Gift Shop, Kingston. She was a member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, David J. Surviving are a stepson David Jr., Jackson, La.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Diane C. HENRY JENKINS Henry L. Jenkins, West Mount Airy Road, Shavertown, Kingston Township, died Sept. 20, 1992 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was a retired carpenter for the Woodlawn Dairy Co. in Shavertown and the past Chancellor Commander of the Knights of Tythias. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Jessie Harris Jenkins; sons, David of Shavertown; John, Hawthorne, NJ; sister, Jane Santarsiero, York; six grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Interment, Milwaukee Cemetery. GEORGE KROMELBEIN George H. Kromelbein, of Kingston Township, died Sept. 18, 1992, in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, shortly after admission. Born in Noxen, he was the son of the late Fred and Bertha Melcher Kromelbein. He graduated from Kingston Township High School and was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European theater. Heresided in Kingston Township for 42 years. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Shavertown, and was a Free Established Mason of Wyoming Lodge 468. He worked at Stegmaier Brewery as a brewmaster until his retirement in 1973 and was formerly employed for several years at Bartels Brewery. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon; sisters, Mildred Willauer and Grace Case. Surviving are his wife, Edith Pollich; several nieces and nephews. Interment, Carverton Cemetery, Carverton. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Janet Sheply; brothers, Art Fritz and Malvin LaFrance; sisters, Thelma Glatz and Marie Sims.
