Brace, 100, for- merly of Lake Street, Dallas, died July 3, at Meadows Nursing Cen- ter, Dallas, where she had been a guest since 1986. Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late David and Mary Ann Hughes Davies. She was a graduate of Plymouth High School. She had resided in Dallas for the past 50 years. She was a member of Dallas United Method- ist Church and its women's socie- ties. She was a former member of the board of directors of the West Side Visiting Nurses Association and the book club of Back Mountain Memorial Library. She was chairlady of the baked goods stand at the Back Mountain Memorial Library Auction for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar S. Surviving are a son, Edgar S, Jr., Dallas; daughter, Mrs. Ralph (Margaret) Garris, Dallas; sister, Mrs. Marian Chiappa, East troudsburg; four grandsons; three great-grandchildren. William Dickson, 72, of ®frucksville, Kingston Township, died July 4, 1992 at Nesbitt Memo- rial Hospital, Kingston, where he was admitted earlier after being stricken ill at home. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late William and Eunice Rebecca Geiger Dickson. He was a graduate of the former Kingston High School and Wilkes- Barre Extension of Penn State University. He had resided in the Back Mountain area for the past 39 years. In 1954, he established King- on Metal Specialties Inc., Luzerne nd was serving as president at the time of his death. A member of Trucksville United fendi Church, he was the *nairman of the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee, chairman of the Parsonage Building Fund and past president of the Board of Trustees. He also was a former Sunday School teacher at his church and coached the Back Mountain Baseball League. Active in community affairs, he was a member of Irem Temple, having served as Potentate in 1982. He was also a past Director of the Irem Stagecrafters. He was also a member of the Shrine Club of Greater Wilkes-Barre, the Trucksville Volunteer Fire Co. and the fire company Relief Associa- tion of which he was a past presi- dent; the Black Diamond Post No. 395 American Legion of Kingston and its Survivors Club. Surviving are his wife, Melba Rood-Dickson; son, Jeffrey Dickson, Dallas; brother, James Dickson, Luzerne; Harry Dickson, Seattle, Wash.; sisters, Mrs. Betty Warner, Glendale; Mrs. Eunice Raugh, Trucksville; three grand- children. Pelton, 92, of Dallas, died July 5, 1992 in the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Wilkes-Barre, a daugh- ter of the late Reese and Gwen Jenkins Evans, she was a gradu- ate of Coughlin High School, and Mansfield State College. She was employed as an ele- mentary school teacher for the Wilkes-Barre city school system. She was a former resident of Wilkes-Barre, Mill City and the Back Mountain area. She was a member of the “Mead- owlarks” of the Meadows Apart- ments, Dallas and the First United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo A. Surviving are sons, Reese E., Dallas; and Wallace L., Brattle- boro, Vt.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild. Interment, Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township.
