Kingston Twp. | ONE-VEHICLE CRASH ON EIGHTH STREET According to Kingston Township . police, a 1985 Honda coupe oper- ' ated by Paul Holena, 18, of Wilkes- Barre was involved in a one-ve- | hicle accident Saturday, June 13, ' at the old Penn-DOT ash pile near Mt. Zion Road on Eighth Street. Police said that Holena swerved his car to miss two deer which had | run onto the roadway, running off the road and striking a sign. His vehicle sustained moderate dam- age and was towed from the scene, police said. Patrolman Robert Parrish in- vestigated the accident. MAN TRAPPED IN CAR AFTER ACCIDENT According to Kingston Township police, a 1978 Ford station wagon “operated by Anthony F. Buro, 34, of Pittston, was involved in a one- vehicle accident late Friday after- | noon, June 12, on Carverton Road } near the entrance to Sunrise Es- tates. Buro was trapped in his car and could not talk to police or | rescue personnel, police said. Po- lice investigation determined that ithe Burovehicle was traveling west on Carverton Road when it struck ‘the end of a curb and blew out a | front tire approximately 75 feet | past the entrance to Sunrise Es- tates. Kuzminski, 22, of 101 Main Street, Dallas. Police said that the ve- hicle's ragtop was also damaged. Patrolman James J. Martin investigated the incident. ARRESTED FOR D.U.L According to Dallas Borough police, Lisa Michelle Goldsmith, 19, of Dorchester Drive, Dallas was arrested Sunday, June 7 and charged before District Magistrate Earl Gregory with driving while under the influence and underage possession of alcoholic beverages. The charges stemmed [rom an incident in which police observed Ms. Goldsmith's vehicle traveling. Patrolman Doug Higgins inves- tigated the incident. CARS HIT AT PIONEER AND OVERBROOK According to Dallas Township police, a 1988 Mercury Cougar operated by P. Delbert Cummings, 76, of Trucksville was involved in an accident Thursday, June 11 knocking over a mailbox, glancing off a tree on the front lawn of the Dale Culver residence and coming to rest on the lawn near the curb, police said. Buro was extricated from his car and transported to Wilkes- Barre General Hospital; Rescue I and Medic I assisted at the scene. Patrolman Robert Parrish in- vestigated the accident. REAR-END ACCIDENT ON ROUTE 309 According to Kingston Township police, a 1986 Nissan Sentra oper- ated by John Daly Leonard, 18 of Dallas and a 1984 Mercury Mar- quis operated by Susan G. See- man, 35, of RR 6 Tunkhannock were involved in a rear-end acci- dent on Route 309 near Pioneer Ave. Tuesday, June 9. Police said that both vehicles were traveling south on Route 309 when the Leonard vehicle collided with the rear end of the Seeman vehicle, which had stopped ahead of it. Ms. Seeman stated to police that she had stopped for anether vehicle ahead of her. The Leonard vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene, accord- ing to the report. Patrolman Charles Rauschkolb investigated the accident. Miller, 78, of Wilkes-Barre was involved in a sideswipe accident Tuesday, June 9, with a 1989 Pontiac Sunbird operated by Charles M. Parada, 23, of Edwardsville, on Route 309 in front of the Bonanza Steak House. Police said that the Miller vehicle pulled out from the restau- rant's parking lot, colliding with the Parada vehicle, which had been traveling north on Route 309 in _ the driving lane. Both vehicles with a 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic operated by Kevin Michael Loeffler, 17, of Dallas, at the inter- section of Overbrook Road and Pioneer Ave. Police said that the Cummings vehicle, which had stopped at the stop sign at the intersection, pulled out onto Pio- neer Ave., colliding with the Loef- fler vehicle, which had been travling _ south on Pioneer Ave. After the into vehicles at these addresses: « 211 Hill St., where Craftsman tools valued at $130 were removed. MAN CHARGED WITH TATTOOING MINORS According to Dallas Borough police, Leo Daniel Edwards, 18, of Carpenter Road, Harveys Lake, was arrested and charged with corrup- tion of minors and tattooing mi- nors without parental consent. A police investigation determined that Edwards had tattooed a four- teen-year-old girl who had been reported to Kingston Borough po- lice as a runaway and a fifteen- eyar-old boy, neither of whom had obtained parental consent for the procedure. Patrolman James J.
