Dallas Middle School students win limo rides selling magazines The students of the Dallas Middle School recently completed the school's annual magazine campaign. The campaign was the most successful in the school's history. Twenty seven thousand dollars work of subscriptions were sold by the middle school students. The top seller of the campaign was Kyle Baker an eighth grade stu- dent. He sold over $500 worth of subscriptions. Samuel Hayne's sixth grade homeroom was the overall sales winner. They will be rewarded for their efforts by hav- ing a pizza party in the near future. The magazine company, Q.S.P. Corporation, treated 12 students who sold 18 or more subscriptions to lunch at a local restaurant. The company transported them in style by limousine to the local eatery. The campaign concluded with the Magazine Olympics. Every student who sold a subscription was eligible to take part. Races, balloon breaking and a pie throw- ing were some of the events en- joyed by all. Atnony Martinelli, principal of the middle school and Michael Pawlik, faculty co-ordinator, would like to thank the Dallas commu- nity for supporting this worthwhile fund raising event.
