Dallas, PA Wednesday, June 3, 1992 The Dallas Post COMMUNITY JOSEPH AND SUE HAND oseph and Sue Hand note 25th anniversary Joseph R. and Sue Hand of Dallas recently celebrated thier 25th edding anniversary. They were married on May 28, 1967 at the home of the bride's parents near Orange. The Reverend William Reid officiated at the eremony. Maid of Honor was Carol Kloiber Usher of the Allentown Area, and the late Joseph M. Hand, served as Best Man for his son. Sue Hand, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth R. Larish of Dallas, is a graduate of Kutztown University. She taught school in Laurel, MD and at Gate of Heaven, Dallas. She belongs to numerous artistic organizations including the International Society of Marine Painters, the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, and the Australia Society of Miniature Artists. Locally, she is a member of the Wyoming alley Art League; Cider Painters of America, Dallas chapter; and Friends of WRGN (Christian Radio). Joseph, son of Mayor and Mrs. Paul LaBar and the late Joseph M. Hand, is a graduate of RCA School of Electronics, New York City. A former computer operator with the Department of Defense, he and Sue own and operate Sue Hand's Imagery, a fine art school and wallery in Dallas. They have eight grand children and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Griffith is the former Dorothy Loveland of Trucksville and has been active with the United Methodist Women as well as in- strumental in the initial organization of the Dallas Women's Club. Mr. Griffith, also very active in the church, is retired from the U.S. Postal Service after serving in several positions, including super- intendent of the Shavertown Branch and Postmaster of Trucksville. A dinner will be held at the Independent Ballroom, Kingston, for family and friends after the church service.
