The nonprofit, volunteer-oper- ated Chicory House, Northeastern Pennsylvania's only venue dedi- cated to presenting folk music, holds its coffeehouse concerts in the Community Room of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, South Franklin Street across from Boscov's in downtown Wilkes- Barre. Pavlov's Dawgs guitarist Jesse Grim says, “I like to call our music bluegrass with a four-barrel car- buretor and dual exhauts. More than just a hot bluegrass band, though, in the few years that they have been playing, Pavlov's Dawgs have created their own niche by infusing elements of jazz, blues, Celtic, rock and reggae, as well as other contemporary sounds, into their music.
