A resident of Wyoming Valley for nearly 30 years, she was a member of the Wyoming Historical and Geological Society, a former board member of the Visiting Nurses Association, a former member of the Wilkes-Barre Gen- eral Hospital Auxiliary and a vol- unteer for Planned Parenthood of Northeastern Pennsylvania. She was also a member of St .Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Wilkes-Barre. Prior to moving to Dallas in 1964, she lived in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ where she was president of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary for Ho-Ho-Kus, a chairperson of the First Forum School Ball and an Altar Club member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church.
