The project included complete facade renovation and an addition of approximately 10,000 square feet. In addition, new tenant signs were installed by many tenants resulting in a much more attrac- tive visual impact to customers and the substantial highway tral- fic which passes the center every day. Inthe spring of last year, B. Levy Shoes became a new “anchor ten- ant”, and its opening was quickly followed by Mrs. G's Chocolate Chip Cookies. The Worthington Choco- late Shoppe, Heavenly Bodies, and They Grow So Fast, a children's and maternity consignment shop. Four long-time tenants of the center significantly expanded their businesses in both the new sec- tion of the Center and the old. These include Joe Nardone's Gal- lery of Sound, Dallas One Hour Cleaners and E.M. Video. In addi- tion, Eric Lee has created an out- standing new Chinese Restaurant, doubling the size of his [former facility. After only several months, Eric has immediate expansion plans. , Humford Equities, shopping center manager, reports that only two stores are presently available, one of 1,050 square feel and one of 5,460 square feet, adjacent B. Levy. AHumford Equities spokesman stated, “The Dallas Shopping Center has maintained a very strong performance record, even during recessionary times, and we expect that the renovation project, completed at the same time as the completion of the new Cross Valley Expressway, will have a very posi- tive impact on customer counts and resulting sales for all tenants," + RAND RE-OPENING Now thru April 18 Boarding Grooming Freshwater Fish Salt Water Fish Puppies Kittens Reptiles Parrots OND HON Sunday COUNTRY PETS % The One & Only Stop You Need To Make For Pets!
