The card party features a drawing for separate prizes of $1000 and $500 in cash; a trip to New York City to see the musical “Crazy for You,” courtesy of Martz Trail- ways; and a $100 gift certificate for Insalaco’s Markets. HL Kunkle Fire ana Ambulance fund drive Maple Grove UMC to hold craft and bake sa; The Kunkle Fire and Ambulance Company annually offers residents an opportunity to become a sub- scribing member. The membership plan was outlined in letters mailed last week to Kunkle and Beaumont area residents. Jack Dodson, Chief of the all volunteer ambulance service said that the membership plans works somewhat like an insurance pol- icy. Those who join are entitled to unlimited emergency medical care and ambulance transportation to the nearest appropriate hospital. This means that if the member patient has some form of insurance coverage forambulance service, they will submit the bill to the insurance carrier for payment. Dodson noted that very rarely does insurance pay the entire ambu- lance bill. Members will not be responsible for any portion of a bill not covered by the insurance, even if it pays nothing. Non-members will be liable for the entire bill. The ambulance relies heavily on income from this annual mem- bership drive and contributions from the business community. Money raised this year will be used to purchase new mast trousers for both Kunkle ambulances. Money also needs to be set aside to buy a new ambulance in 1995. Misericordia to hold its first outdoor sculpture exhibit The unique metal works of three artists will be on display when College Misericordia's MacDonald Art Gallery hosts a “Sculpture Exhibition - Interior and Exterior Installations,” April 5 through May 25, This exhibition will feature the sculptures of college art profes- sors James Agard, Karl Beamer and Herbert Simon on Misericor- dia’s Exterior North Lawn as well as in the MacDonald Art Gallery.
