12 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, December 18, 1991 Citizens’ Council will elect officers December 19 New officers and new members of the Back Mountain Citizens Council will be elected at the an- nual meeting December 19 at 7 p.m. in Hayfield House room 105 on the campus of Penn State Wilkes-Barre, according to Nancy Eckert, chairperson of BMCC. The public is invited to the meeting. Murray Miller, head of the nominating committee, said the following persons were nominated as officers: Will Conyngham, presi- dent; Ray Boyle, vice president; Ben Phillips, secretary and Tom Winters, treasurer. Nominees for the board of direc- tors include the following: first- time members - Robert Besecker of Dallas Townhip; Dean Casidy of Dallas Borough; John Reddy and Mary Reddy of Jackson Township; Charles Wasserott III of Shaver- town. Nominees for re-election to the board include: Al Babetski of Lehman Twp.; Phyllis Belk of Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus; Ray Boyle of Harveys Lake Borough; Larry Law of Ross Twp.; Murray Miller of Jackson Twp. and Ann Vernon of Kingston Twp. One you'll remember because No Drugs - No Alcohol! This will be a four hour rock con- cert featuring local bands and a DJ from Q-102 at the Kingston 109th Armory from 4 to 8 p.m. on December 31. This will be a “Lock- In" for teenagers from 13 to 19 only. Parents should plan to pick to having a holiday celebration just for them. Other adult volunteers are still needed to chaperone the concert. The Committee hopes that the teens will come, have a won- derful time at their very own cele- bration, and then be content to go home to watch MTV and be safely home before adult activities for New Year's Eve begin.
