10 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, July 17, 1991 SCHOOL Jeanna Oh IS attending Governor's school Jeana Oh, 25 Kingswood Drive, Dallas, is among the 64 academi- cally talented sophomores and juniors attending the second an- nual Pennsylvania Governor's School for Teaching at Millersville University. Oh is a student at Wyoming Seminary in Kingston. The five-week School for Teach- ing at MU, which runs through August 10, is one of seven “Gover- nor's Schools of Excellence” in Pennsylvania. A full scholarhsip residential summer enrichment program that brings together stu- dents of diverse cultures and back- grounds, the school is the first such'program in the nation dedi- cated to the profession of teaching. This year’s participants were se- lected from a pool of hundreds of applicants who are enrolled in school districts across Pennsylva- nia. While at Millersville, the young scholars will study current theo- ries of learning and teaching, ac- tively teach, design a school of the future, and enjoy field trips. Bartley earns USC degree Paul E. Bartley III, Orchard Hills Farms of Vernon, was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Univer- sity of Southern California in Los Angeles. Bartley is a dean's student graduate and is the recipient of Outstanding College Students of America Award.
