She was a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, Wilkes-Barre. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew, February 1971. Born in Nanticoke, June 16, 1926, he was the son of the late Michael and Helen Hubbell Faux. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving with the Army in- fantry. He was a resident of Noxen for the past 19 years and a mem- ber of the Noxen United Methodist Church. Prior to his retirement, he was a foreman at Roth American. Jones, Sr., of Dallas, died June 19, 1991 in Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston, after being stricken earlier in the West Side Mall parking lot, Edwardsville. Born in Larksville, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary McDermottJones. He was a gradu- ate of Larksville High School and Wilkes-Barre Business College. He also attended College Misericor- dia, Dallas and Wilkes College, Wilkes-Barre. He was a purchas- ing agent with the Glen Alden Coal Co., for over 30 years. Prior to retiring in 1980, he was associated with Owens Illinois Inc., Pittston Township, for many years. An avid horseman and dog breeder, he also operated ED-DORS Kennels, Ply- mouth and later Back Mountain, for many years. He was a member of Huntsville Christian Church and was its organist and a choir mem- ber for some time, and was a Church Board member. He was a former member of the First Primi- tive Methodist Church, Plymouth, where he was organist and choir director for 50 years, and had been president of its Board of Trustees. He was also a member of Plymouth Lodge, Number 332, F.&A.M. for 40 years; Caldwell Consistory, Bloomsburg; and Irem Temple, Wilkes-Barre. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Dorothy Cook, in 1986; brothers, David and James; grandson, Daniel Bruch- ert. Surviving are his wife, the for- mer Jean Cambiotti Litchman; son, Edward C. Jr., Kingston; sister, Mrs. Mildred Shonk, Plymouth; three grandchildren; one great- grandson. Be- fore retiring, she was employed as a clerk at the F.W. Woolworth Co. in Wilkes-Barre. She was a mem- ber of the Dallas United Methodist ‘Church and its Brickel Class. She was also a member of Irem Temple Womens Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W., Aug. 15, 1989; grandson, Robert E. Stair, Jan. 15, 1985.
