Angelo’s prize was a $50 Savings Bond donated by Amanda Hildebrand, 8, of Dallas. She won a $50 gift certificate donated by Something Special Restaurant in Dallas. Amanda attends Little People Day School in Dallas. First prize winner in the age 10-13 group was Jennifer Jerrylone. Jennifer, who is 12 years old, is in seventh grade at Dallas Middle School. Her mother is Carol Jerrytone of Dallas. She won a $50 Savings Bond donated by Dr. David H. Spring of Dallas. Second place in the category went to Mike Sabol, 10, of Shavertown. Mike is a fifth grade student at Westmoreland Elementary School. He received a $50 gift certificate from Friendly's Restaurant in Dallas. The contests judges, Sue Hand, Liz Lloyd and Jean Hillard, felt that several other entries deserved honorable mention recognition. They are, in the age 5 and under category, Jamie Sulewski, Plains; Devon Ryan Wertman, Dallas; Kevin Della Rosa, Plains; Ben Rother, Dallas; John Paul Brady, IV, Dallas; Alicia Evans, Shavertown; Laura Nieman, Wyoming.
