Murdock to be welcomed as new pastor at Trinity Presbyterian Church Trinity Presbyterian Church in Dallas will welcome their new pastor, the Rev. Robert C. Mur- dock, on Sunday, March 3, 1991, at the 11 a.m. worship service and at the Service of Installation sched- uled for the same day at 4 p.m. at the Dallas church when he will be installed as pastor by the Presby- tery of Lackawanna. The Rev. Jean Henderson, Di- rector of Placement at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary and Direc- tor of Adult Education at The Pres- byterian Church, Sewickley, Penn- sylvania will deliver the message at the Service of Installation to which all members and friends of Trinity are cordially invited. Following the service a recep- tion will be held in the Miracle Building of the church. Rev. Murdock was ordained into the ministry Sunday, February 24, 1991, at The Presbyterian Church. Sewickley. Several members from the Trinity Church attended his ' Ordination Service. Rev. Murdock graduated from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Prior to attending seminary, from 1969 to 1979 he was vice presi- dent and general manager of Sea Breeze Laboratories, Inc., and from 1980 to 1986 he was self employed REV. ROBERT C. MURDOCK as a consultant in computer sys- tems analysis. Rev. Murdock serves on the Board of Directors of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. Mrs. Murdock is a graduate of Kent State and is a perioperative nurse. Trinity Presbyterian Church is | one of the newer churches in the Lackawanna Presbytery. It was organized on June 10, 1962, with the Rev. Andrew Pillarella serving the church as pastor from that time until his retirement in Sep- tember, 1989. Trinity is a mission minded church and reaches out into the community by sharing its facilities with several community groups and organizations. Sunday church services at Trin- ity are at 11 a.m. with Sunday - School at 9:30 a.m. Mrs. David Norris is Director of Christian Education as well as Director of the Trinity Learning Center which is an educational outreach minis- try of the church. The Music De- partment is under the direction of Mrs. Michael Shambora.
