Mr. Adams is the son of the late Frederick and Elizabeth Adams, Kingston. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Adams was employed through the Sheetmetal Workers Local 44. TAYLOR Taylors to celebrate Golden Anniversary Mr. and Mrs. Jacob R. Tayler, 90 Grandview Ave., New Goss Manor, Dallas, will observe their 50th Wedding Anniversary on Thanksgiving Day. The couple was married on Thanksgiving Day, 1940, by the late Rev. J. Norman Martin in the church parsonage of the Luzerne Avenue, Baptist Church, West Pittston. Their attendants were Ethel Newton, R.N,. and James Markert. The Taylors are the parents of two children, Robert of Chester, MD and Judy, at home. They also have three grandchil- dren, Robert, Jr., Shannon and Kristen Taylor. Mrs. Taylor, the former Elizabeth Tennant, is a graduate of West Pittston High School and Pittston Hospital School of Nurs- ing, Class of 1940. She is the daughter of the late Martha Play- ers Tennant and Ira Tennant of West Pittston. Mr. Taylor is a graduate of Luzerne High School, Class of 1935. For the past 40 years he has owned an Advertising Specialty Agency. He is the son of the late Anna Thomas Taylor and Jacob Taylor of Luzerne. : In October, the couple marked the occasion of their anniver- sary with a South American Cruise aboard the ship, Voordam. The trip originated in Vancouver, B.C., and included passage through the Panama Canal. On Thanksgiving Day, Mr. and Mrs. Taylor will be honored by their children and grandchildren at a family dinner. Denmon, son of Russell and Josephine Denmon of Beaumont. The ceremony took place at the Dorranceton United Methodist Church in Kingston. Reverend Charles Naugle performed the double ring ceremony. Main of Honor was Carole Lamoreaux of Umatillia, Florida. Bridesmaids were Amy Denmon and Macksine Johnson. Junior bridesmaid was Kori Beth Clark daughter of the bride. Best man was Steven Traver. Ushers were Donald Denmon, brother of the groom, Carl Risch and Kristopher Smith, brother of the bride. Ring bearer was Jeremy Denmon, nephew of the groom. An afternoon reception was held following the ceremony at the Wheelmen, on South River Street, Wilkes-Barre. The bride is a graduate of Lake-Lehman High School and is em- ployed at Franklin First Federal Savings Bank, Shavertown. The groom is a graduate of Tunkhannock High School and Slippery Rock University with a degree in computer science. He is employed by Wasserotts Medicare. Oplinger, Kingston, will observe their 45th wedding anniversary on November 22, 1990. The couple was married in the Shavertown Methodist Church by Rev. F.H. Zaffiro.
