Last Thursday marked the first day taht the newest dining area at the restarant was open to the public for dining and the public seems to enjoy the new look. Although an official opening ceremony is scheduled for a later date, many of Grotto's customers feel the highlight of the new open- ing is going on now. . "This is a beautiful area," said Janine Davis of Wilkes-Barre. "We haven't been out here in some time but the whole building is beauti- ful.” The latest area tobe opened was a large dining room that faces Harveys Lake. Ground breaking for the newest building was held earlier this year and the owners will be holding a ceremony when everything is completed. Even though customers go to the restaurant for the food, many say that the new building adds a lot to the business. "This is a nice atmosphere to eat in," said Carl Moyer of Jackson Township. "There aren't many places where you can take a family and have a nice sit down atmos- phere like this." Gerry Lind of Harveys Lake said that the new building attracted her to stop in at the restaurant. "I drive past this every day and I finally decided to stop in and see if it was as nice on the outside as it ‘looked on the inside." Employees of the shop said that they like the improvements that have been made and said they think that more customers will be dining at the restaurant now that thet the new dining area is open and word gets around to the com- munity.
