Wilkes play to be entered in college theatre festival Human relationships, the creative process, and the com- mitments and sacrifices of artists will be put on stage when the Wilkes University Theatre presents Craig Lucas'’s contemporary comedy, “Blue Window.” With “Blue Window,” Wilkes continues its tradition of being on modern theatre's cutting edge. “Our mission is to educate students in new theatre forms,” said Dr. Mi- chael O'Neill, director of theatre, “and to bring these forms to the community.” ~ Wilkes plans to enter its pro- duction of “Blue Window” in the American College Theatre Festival (ACTF) competition. After regional judging, six national winners will perform their productions in the Kenn Center, Washington, D.C. The ACTF also awards acting and design scholarships to partici- pating students. The cast includes: O'Neill, director; John Swanson, designer; Jessica Materna as Libby; Sean Reilly as Norbert; John McLaughlin as Tom; Melanie O'Donnell as Emily; Chrissy Brunnock as Boo; Gail Stone as Alice; and Jason Delcamp as Griever. The play opens November 15 and runs through Novemer 18. Performances will be held on the 15th, 16th, and 17th at 8 p-m. and on the 18th at 2 p.m. in the Dorothy Dickson Darte Center for the Performing Arts. Ticket reservations will begin on November 12.
