This special program is scheduled for the af- ternoon from 1:30 to 3:00 P.M. for Dallas juniors and seniors and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. for stu- dents, parents and the general RE, %. 4 : : a public. Approximately seventy-five col- leges, technical schools and branches of the armed services will set up displays in the gymna- sium. Interested juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to speak with the various admis- sion personnel. Dallas literature group plans year The American Literature Field Studies Association at the Dallas High School opened its new school year with plans for decorating the new atrium at the school, plans for the holiday fundraising sale of poinsettia plants, and plans for the annual field trip to historic sites of New England in May of 1991. About 35,000 Commended Students nationwide are being honored for their outstanding performance on the 1989 PSAT/ NMSQT, which places them in the top five percent of more than one million students who entered the 1991 Merit Program by taking the qualifying test.
