Course attendance will be limited to 30 Senior Citizens having valid license. The demand for the “55 Alive Driving Course continues to be popular with our Senior Citizens 50 years and older. A recent meet- ing of the instructors found these courses popular in all areas of our country. E>) On September 19 the course wi ill be held in the social rooms of the First United Methodist Church, Plymouth. This one day presenta- tion will consist of attendance 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Upon completion will be forwarded to National AARP for registering in the computer file. Seniors who are registered may be entitled to a 10% discount on their auto insurance policy. This can amount to over $30.00 per year. Each registration is valid for three years. Registrants are aware of the new Pa. Law which went into effect July 1st, which guarantees certain provisions for car insur- ance. Due to the registration for this course, Senors are asked to send their $7.00 fee, made out to AARP, and mail it to instructor Jerry Fritzen, 115 South Thomas Ave- nue, Edwardsville, Pa. 18704. Back Mountain Library hosts Summer Reading Party * The Back Mountain Memorial Library entertained the members of the “Treasure of the Black Diamond Reading Club” and the”Journey Through Storybookland” Read- to-Me-Club at the party at Frances Slocum State Park.
