An evening of dinner and reminiscing was enjoyed by all. Dallas Class of '55 holds reunion ~The Class of 1955 of the Dallas- Franklin Township High School held its class reunion on June 30, at Genetti's Castle Fondo in Wilkes- Barre. Chairman Thomas Schmidle acted as MC for the evening. The room was decorated with the class colors, red and white. ~ The committee, Ellen Thomas, Marilyn Weida, Lou Katchko and . The Center will oper- ate initially one Saturday a month and will accept glass, aluminum and tin cans and certain plastics. It will be manned by volunteers. The Committee gill meet on Wednesday, July 25, 7:30 p.m. at the Township Building to continue its planning. ’ a program sets auditions On Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Wilkes-Barre Ballet Theatre Stu- dio, 102-104 S. Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, auditions will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a new pre-professional program. All ballet students ages 10-14 years are encouraged toattend and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The program includes training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and modern and begins preparing the student for a professional career indance. Limited scholarships are available. The first session in all divisions of the school are sched- uled to begin August 20 and are offered to students three years to adult, beginner to advanced. Back Mountain Jaycees to hold membership meeting The Back Mountain Jaycees will hold their monthly general mem- bership meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Farmers Inn, Huntsville Road in Trucksville at 8 p.m. Pre- siding over the meeting will be President Mark Masitis. . Regional award winners will be recognized, arrangements will be made for the upcoming Luzerne County Fall Fair, other projects and events will also be discussed and a social hour will follow the meeting. All members of the Board of Directors and the general mem- bership are urged to attend. The Back Mountain Jaycees are a community oriented leadership training organization open to men and women from 21 to 40 years of age.
