Inyears past, visitors to the program have gazed in awe and have had their hearts blessed by the church's por- trayal of Christ's life and His last days on earth. This year, the choir, led by Cindy Evans of Sweet Valley, and a group of dramatists will combine efforts to once again present an in- spiring message. This year’s musical will be held on Friday and Saturday, April 13, 14 at 7 p.m. It is entitled “Celebrate Life”, and according to Evans, it is a ~ musical that is not entirely all that unfamiliar with the con- gregation. “We have performed this mu- sical before,” said Evans, “and since then, many people have - asked us when we are going to do it again. It seems to be a ~ favorite among all age groups. It's both uplifting and inspir- ing. We will be adding different ‘things to it this year though, so seen us do it before, they'llbe in for a pleasant surprise if they come to see it this year.” “Celebrate Life” concerns itself with the greatest story every told - related by those who knew Jesus Christ best. Through the eyes of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, visitors will catch glimpses of the life of Christ, from His lowly birth to His triumphant resurrection and ascension. It is sure to touch the souls of everyone attending. The Sweet Valley Church of Christ is located on Main Road, Sweet Valley, approximately 2.5 miles from Sheldon’s Diner.
