Psychiatric and mental health nurses have expertise in psychiat- ric and mental health nursing practice and understand theories concerning personality develop- ment and the behavior patterns involved in the treatment of men- tal illness. Practice in this area also requires knowledge of the expected affects of treatment upon client behavior, and of the rela- tionship this has to nursing care. Ms. Conahan is a graduate of the Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing in Philadelphia, and currently is pursuing a Bache- lor of Science Degree in Nursing from College Misericordia in Dal- las. She is a Registered Nurse with the State of Pennsylvania and also of Prussia, Pa., announced the appointment of Laura F.
