6 The Dallas Post Dallas, PA Wednesday, January 31, 1990 PEOPLE Hayer new business manager Joseph Hayer Joseph Hayer recently was named business manager at Col- lege Misericordia, according to Tom O'Neil, dean of financial and administrative affairs. As business manager, Hayer is responsible for all the College's purchasing and personnel mat- ters, and oversees the mainte- nance, housekeeping and grounds departments. He also serves as an adjunct faculty member in the division of business administra- tion. : Hayer joined College Misericor- dia in 1982 as an accountant. He earned both his bachelor of sci- ence degree in accounting and his master of business administra- tion degree from Wilkes college. Hayer lives in Shavertown with his wife Carol and three children. LCCC faculty receives CASE recognition A member of the faculty at Luzerne County Community College was recently recognized by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) in Washington, D.C. as being a nominee for the 1989 CASE Professor of the Year program. Neil is responsible for coordinating the academic programs in his department and has recently instituted a new program offering in Francine Miller, Dallas, has been named director of special programs and grants at King's College, where her duties will include serving a liaison between King's and various foundations, preparing grant proposals, and organizing special events for the college's development office. Miller, who graduated from King's in 1986 with bachelor of arts degrees in government and politics and French, previously served as 1989 special events coordinator for the March of Dimes in Avoca. Before that, she also served as buyer and assistant buyer for S. Grumbacher & Son, York. While at King's as a student, she completed two internships: in Meadows honors two volunteers Grace Searfoss, Harveys Lake and Martha Newman, Dallas, were recently presented Meadows Green Smocks by the Auxiliary of the Meadows Nursing Center in recognition of their completion of 50 hours of volunteer service to residents at the Center. Dell'Antonia has joined C-TEC Corporation as vice presi- dent, Management Information Systems (MIS). According to C- TEC President Charles E. Parente, Dell’Antonia will be responsible for the MIS function of the Corpora- tion, including the strategic direc- tion, design and implementation of information systems. Dell'’Antonia has over 25 years of experience in information man- agement. He was most recently vice president, MIS, for The Cole- man Company, Inc. of Wichita, Kansas, a Fortune 500 interna- tional manufacturer /distributor of outdoor recreational products. While residing in Kansas, Dell’Antonia was chosen as co- chairperson of the State of Kansas Computer Advisory Committee and as a member of the State of Kansas Governor's Financial Management ‘Task Force.
