New show opening this week at Hefft House Gallery The Gallery at the Hefft House, Shavertown, PA, opens its second season with the Fall Potpourri of Art. It will feature a selection of artwork from a newly-formed group of Northeastern Pennsylvanians called "Artists for Art." This or- ganization encourages the involve- ment of all those in the community who are concerned with the visual arts or are artists themselves by offering , among other things, free lecture programs. Works by several of these artists will be on display. They include Mary Grace Connolly, a Marywood College Fine Arts graduate who works in pencil as well as experi- menting with collage; Predrag Djordjevic, an international exhib- itor, whose paintings reside in corporate collections; landscape artist Renee Emanuel, who teaches at her home and studio in Moscow, PA; and Louis Pontone, who stud- ied his craft in New York City, with works in oil and acrylic. Also participating will be Bill Teitsworth, an award-winning watercolorist, who is curently rep- resented by a gallery in Washing- ton, D.C.; Charles Welles, a sculp- tor who was most recently fea- tured at a show in Vernmont; and Marywood graduate Denis A.
