Mr. Kukosky is a gradaute of Lake-Lehman Higfth School and Wilkes College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Elec- trical Engineering. He is employed as an electrical engeineer at the Naval Ship Systems Engineering Station, Philadelphia. The couple will be married Sep- tembe 16, 1989. Son born to Supulskis Mr. and Mrs. Roy Supulski of Carrollton, Texas announce the birth of son April 1. They are also the parents of two daughters, Erin and Lauren. : Mr. Supulski is the son of Mrs. Bertha Supulski and the late Ernest Supulski, Mill Street, Dal- las. Mrs. Supulski will take a trip to Texas in the near future to meet her new grandson. Back Mountain seniors' group to meet Back Mountain Senior Citizens under Project HEAD, met recently with President Joseph Precone, presiding. The next meeting will be on Thursday, April 20, at 1:30 in St. : Therese's Auditorium, Shavertown. Member Ed Carey, a retired fire- man, will give a presentation on “Fire Protection”, followed by a social hour. New members are welcome. At the last meeting, Vice Presi- dent Ann Balavage served as tem- porary secretary due to the resig- nation of Pat Baloga. The nominating committee, Gert Miscavage, Bob Rogers and Pat Baloga, will be selecting candidates for the elections of new officers in May. Two new members, Joseph and Ethel Baltrushes, were introduced by Vicki Leo, membership chairlady. A get well card was sent to member Marie Yurish, who has been hospitalized. Lillian Soveroski, programs, announced plans for future meet- ings including presentations by a member of the Audubon Society, and the Community Singers of Dallas. Robert Greenhalgh, M.D., will be the guest speaker at the May 4 meeting. Pritchard of Trucksville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, April 9. They were married in the Trucksville Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Savacool on Easter Sunday, April 9, 1939. They were . attended by Minerva Perkins Owens, matron of honor and Ray- mond L. Pritchard, best man. Mrs. Pritchard is the former Ruth L. Perkins, daughter of the late Charles A. Perkins and Ruth Lewis Perkins. Mr. Pritchard is the son of the late John J. Pritchard and Mabel Maisey Pritchard. She is a graduate of Wilkes- -Barre General Hospital School of Nursing and spent over 20 years in the field of private duty nursing. Mrs. Pritchard is active in many community activities and is a member of the United Methodist Women of the Trucksville Method- ist Church. Mr. Pritchard was employed by Glendale and Woodlawn Dairies for 20 years and as an agent for Nationwide Insurance for 15 years. He also served as Kingston Town- ship Tax Collector for 20 years. Mr. Pritchard has been and is active in many Back Mountain and Wyo- ming Valley organizations includ- ing a charter officer of Back Moun- tain Little League, American Red Cross, Luzerne County Emergency Management Agency, Past Presi- dent of the St. David's Society of Wyoming Valley, a 30 year Repub- lican Committeeman and present Vice Chairman of the Luzerne County Republican Party.Mr. Pritchard is also active in the Masonic Orders, Lodge #395, F&AM; Caldwell Consistory and Irem Temple Shrine.
