Two- year-old Sasha is declawed and friendly. She is well-behaved and is looking for someone to give hera good home and love her despite her handicap. Sasha has had her first series of shots and has been spayed. She will be an excellent pet for some- one who is lonely and wants com- pany without having to give a peta lot of care. Drop in and visit Sasha at SPCA, 524 East Main St., Fox Hill, Wilkes- Barre or call for information 825- 4111. SPCA warns against animals as gifts Don't give live rabbits, chicks or ducklings to children as pets for Easter, advises Edward Gross, manager of Luzerne County SPCA. Many people give these pets to children as a gift but they are not all fortunate enough to have found a permanent home as a pet. Some are brought to the shelter but others are abandoned to fend for themselves. Domestic rabbits depend on mankind for survival and they die when set free. Consider the animal when de- ciding whether or not to give one as an Easter gift. A stuffed toy would be more appropriate in most cases.
