Enrique enjoys music and reading but he doesn't care much for television, although they have the same type programs in San Jose but in Spanish. While here he visited New York City and the Metropolitan Museum. He also attended the Bloomsburg Theatrc He didn't like New York because it was so dirty. “I think at one time it must have been a beautiful city, but now the people don't take care of it,” he said. Enrique has three sisters, one older and married and two younger. « He said he was lucky because he has two fathers, his real father and his stepfather. “I love both of them very much, my stepfather is good to me like my real father.” His stepfather owns a telephone company; his real father is a pro- fessional and was working for the government until recently when he changed positions. The family has pineapples on their ranch and Enrique loves fresh pineapple. They also have a tan- gerine tree and an orange tree on the ranch and milk cows. They make their own cheese and he said he can't wait to get home to have some of it “The president of our country, Oscar Arias, won the Nobel prize for a peace plan he did for Central America,” Enrique explained. “We have no army in Costa Rica. Our country is one of the best in Cen- tral America. The saying is we have ‘more teachers than cops’. “We have drugs as there are in every country, but not plentiful like they are here in the United States. After I graduate from school I would like to return to the United States to study medicine and become a doctor.” Before Enrique left the students had a farewell party for him and he spent some time with his “big brother” Rich Hynick saying goo- dbye before he left. He told students he hoped to return to visit Lake-Lehman next year. Religious services COMMUNITY CHURCH OF DALLAS (across from Chapel Lawn Cemetery on Harveys Lake Memo- rial Highway.) New vending machine can help Back Mountain residents who don't trust their water supply now have a new alternative to choose from. : On Saturday, February 11, Congressman Paul E. Kanjorski ‘was the guest of honor at the grand opening ceremony for the first water dispensing machine in the North- east. The water filtration machine is owned by Aqua Penn, Inc. and is located in Trucksville outside of the City Butcher store. According to Andrewd.
