He will attend the Central Pennsylvania Leadership Seminar to be held for 250 representatives on March 30 - April 2 in Lancaster. Serpico new NEPAHA head Lina Serpico, Trucksville, past president of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital's Auxiliary, was recently elected president of the Northeast Pennsylvania Association of Hospi- Serpico, who is also a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Hospital Auxiliaries’ (PAHA) Board of Directors, will serve a two-year term as president of NEPAHA. She is a 10-year General Hospital Auxil- iary member, and has served on the Auxiliary’s Board of Directors for eight years. In addition, she has served as the legislative chairman for two years and the president- elect for two years in the NEPAHA, and is on the advisory board for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Northeast Penn- sylvania. ~ The NEPAHA works to promote education and to advance the wel- Lina Serpico fare of all Northeastern Pennsylva- nia auxiliary members. Amber is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Forster from Dallas. Asbury College, named after Bishop Francis Asbury, first Meth- odist Bishop and Circuit Rider in America, was founded in 1890 as a Christian liberal arts school in the ° heart of hte Bluegrass Region. Farris member of Phi Sigma Sigma Michele Farris of Shavertown and a junior at Bloomsburg University has been accepted as a member of the national sorority of Phi Sigma Sigma. The sorority ‘promotes sis- terhood, scholarship, and service. Miss Farris ia 1986 graduate of Dallas High School At Bloomsburg she is an elemen- tary education major and is a member of the Association for Child- hood Educators International. Lynn Borton honored by Misericordia Lynn Borton of Harveys Lake was one of five senior Occupational Therapy (O.T.) students recently honored by their faculty and peers at College Misericordia. Occupa- tional therapists concentrate on returning the handicapped or chal- lenged individual to maxium daily independence in work, self-care and leisure occupation. Borton won the O.T. Pugh, a music major, has made Misericordia’s Dean's List several semesters. She is also a member of Campus Ministry and was twice selected to the Intercollegiate Cho- rus Festival. Pugh spent last sum- mer working at Misericordia’s day camp for children with special needs. Hudick, a Medical Technology major, has been on Misericordia’s Dean's List for six semesters and is a member of the Honors program. She has served as Biology Club secretary and has been a member for seven semesters. Hudick has also been a Red Cross blood drive volunteer and is a tutor at Miseri- cordia.
