Joe Meighan recently at St. Therese’s Church, Shavertown. A service of Scripture, prayer and song was highlighted with the Thanksgiving Message delivered by Rabbi Arnold Shevlin. Special music was provided by the combined choirs from all the churches and in keeping ‘with the spirit of the season, a free-will offering for the Back Mountain Food Bank and the Vincent dePaul Kitchen was collected. Back Mountain Memorial Library contributers thanked at reception Major contributors to the recent capital funds campaign for the benefit of the new Back Mountain Memorial Library were recognized at a reception held at the Library. Placques were presented to several donors present and hung in various rooms honoring the memory of members of their respective fami- lies. Included among those remem- bered were: Mrs. Jan Scovell in the children's library; Abram Nesbitt II in the circulation room; Mrs. Ralph Garrahan and daughter in the children’s library and Mrs. Rose Bennett Harvey in the reference room.
