Assisting chair Karen Passerella Boback, Day-Klein, with the help of other graduates, students, and Sis- ters of Mercy, plans toraise $120,000 for the college. This support was pledged primarily during the phonathon on November 6, 7, 8, 13, 14, and 15. Equal support was also raised at that time from the commu- nity and local businesses. “We are looking to the strong network of community friends and business leaders who believe in what College Misericordia is doing to help make this year the most successful ever. “That kind of effort backed by the growing support of our alumni will form a strong base for our total $1 million dollar goal.” The money raised by the alumni goes toward scholarships, student aid and yearly operating expenses. + Day-Klein is a chiropractor who shares a practice with her husband, Albert, also a chiropractor. After graduating from Misericordia in 1974 with a bachelors degree in nutrition, Bobbie pursued a mas- ters degree at Marywood.
