Mr. Frank Galicki, Princi- pal, announced today that Ralph placed in the top 50,000 of more than one million participants in the 34th annual Merit Program and will receive a Letter of Commendation in recognition of outstanding academic promise. Ralph is a member of the Senior Steering Committee. He has been on the Honor Roll throughout high school. He has been a NEDT Certificate Winner. He is also a foot- ball player. The 31 freshmen and 40 sophomores represent some of the best and brightest students of the Wyoming Valley region and bring with them distinguished records of academic achievement. The financial awards they received range from $300 to $1000. Much of the financial support came from generous community and alumni contributions to the 1987-88 Annual Fund Campaign.
