Connors, chairperson of the American Hospital Association, recently presided over College Misericordia’s Health Care Task Force which guides the college in strategic decision making for health care educational strategies and programs. Connors, who has extensive medical administration experience, agreed to chair the task force earlier in this year. Between September 1988 and April 1989 the Task Force, a group of community leaders and professionals, will undertake three related studies. “The first study will develop a forecast of health care services in Northeastern Pennsylvania over the| coming decade. This study will emphasize personnel needs within the health care system,” said Dr. Bruce Wilson, acting president of Misericordia. “The second study will assist Misericordia in translating these personnel needs into educational training programs that the college can offer the community. Finally, the third study will identify the human and material resources needed to deliver these programs as, a health care leader in the Northeast.” “The largest employer in this region is the health care delivery sytem,” Wilson explained. “By continuing this leadership in health care education, Misericordia can serve the community and the local economy while preparing students for health care careers.” "Messiah" at Wyoming Seminary December 11 The music department at Wyoming Seminary in Kingston would like to invite interested singers to be a part of Wyoming Seminary’s Festival Chorus as it celebrates the Christmas season with a presentation of Handel's Messiah.
