I Misericordia fund raising meeting A steering committee comprised of members of College Misericordia’s Board of Trustees are gathering support for the $2 million renovation of the College's Science Building. New equipment and facilities will be in place for Misericordia’s nursing and allied health care students when they return to the campus for the fall semester. Nearly half of Misericordia’s students ‘are enrolled in the science and health care majors. Over $1 million has been raised toward the renovations. Blood drive Monday at Meadows The Meadows Nursing Center, 55 W. Beth Hartshorne, age 8, recently competed in the Precision Unlim- ited Dance Competition at Gus Genetti’s. Beth’s group placed first in the Beth Hartshorne Pets of the week The S.P.C.A. of Luzerne County, Fox Hill Road, Plains Twp., has these two pets for adoption. Harvey is an adult tri-colored male Beagle. He is very gentle and is looking for an owner to love him. Kitty is a domestic short hair cat. He is a three-year-old Tiger color pet, neutered and has his shots. Kitty is declawed and housebroken. It will be sad if Kitty doesn’t find a new home. He loves people. CHURCH - .
