Kimberly Wilkie receives degree in podriatry Kimberly Ann Wilkie Dallas resident Kimberly Ann Wilkie recently received the degree of Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine (PCPM) located on Eighth and Race Streets in center city Philadelphia. Dr. Wilkie is one of 106 students in the 22nd annual graduating class. A 1983 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Dr. Wilkie received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology before continuing her education at PCMP. Dr. Wilkie was honored with the American College of Podiatric Radiologists Award-Honorable mention. This prestigious award is presented annually to the student who has presented the best thesis on Foot Roentgenology. Kimberly Ann Wilkie is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. William L. Wilkie. Following graduation, Dr. Wilkie plans a preceptorship at Contempo- rary Foot Care with Dr. J. Gimbel in Arlington, Massachusetts. Donna Fromel is promoted at First Eastern Bank Donna Fromel, a resident of Dallas, has been promoted to a senior assistant auditor at First Eastern Bank according to an announcement by Richard M. Ross, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer. Ms. Fromel develops and super- vises internal audits of First East- ern Corp. Her areas of responsibil- ity include various banking departments and all subsidiaries of First Eastern Corp. and First East- ern ‘Bank. Prior to joining the bank, she held accounting positions in a public accounting firm and in private industry. She is a graduate of Wilkes College where she received a BA degree in Psychol- ogy and a BS degree in Accounting. Along with being a Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Fromel is also a Chartered Bank Auditor. Ms. Fabian, an Early Childhood Education major, gradu- ated Magna Cum Laude, maintain- ing an overall average of 3.77. In addition to a Bachelor of Science Degree, she also completed requirements for a Certificate of Advanced Study in Computer Edu- cation. As a sophomore, she received a faculty invitation to the Depart- mental Honors Program enabling her to pursue independent study and research culminating in an Honors thesis. Her thesis, “A Criti- cal Analysis and Evaluation of The Computer In Education’, was presented and accepted enabling her to graduate with honors in her major. She is a member of three National Honor Societies, Alpha Lambda Delta, Kappa Gamma Pi, and Delta Episolon Sigma. She was named to Who’s Who Among Stu- dents in American Universities and Colleges and was also selected an Outstanding Young Woman of America 1987.
