There will be free refreshments and door prizes. | | Kingston Twp Rec program starts June 20 The Kingston Township Summer Recreation Program will begin June 20, and will continue through July 29. The program is sponsored by the Kingston Township Recrea- tion Commission in conjunction with the Board of Rupervisors. Registration for the Summer Pro- gram will be held on June 18, at the Township Recreation Park on East Center Street from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A parent or guardian must be present to register their child. The program is open to children ages 5 through 12. ~ The summer program will be held each weekday from 9 a.m. until 3- p.m. Participants meet at the Westmoreland Elementary School, Trucksville, each morning, except for Wednesdays, when they gather at the Township Recreation Park on East Center Street in Shavertown. Children should bring a bag lunch and drink each day that they attend. A full schedule of activities has been arranged. There will be movies, crafts, sports, events, field trips in addition to swimming trips on a weekly basis to Frances Slocum State Park. Bus transportation for the field trips will be furnished by the Township. The Summer Program is open to residents of Kingston Township only.
