dad Sa 6 THE DALLAS POST/Wednesday, May 4, 1988 7 German addresses Kiwanis Bruce German, former Iranian captive, was the principal speaker at a meeting of the Dallas Kiwanis Club. His talk was a highlight of his experiences as a captive, the thoughts that go through your mind in this type of situation and many other things that an individual could not possible understand unless they themselves underwent such a situation. Mr. German stated that people would be surprised at what the human body can endure and how one learns to cope with a situation by taking everything one day at a time. In light of what is ‘happening in the world today with air hijackings etc., his talk was well received with many questions from the audience.
