Tennyson, supervising principal of Dallas Borough Schools for the past two years, has submit- ted his resignation to accept a position as head of the joint dis- tricts of Smith Township and Bur- gettstown Borough in Washington County. A caravan of newspapermen and travel counselors from Eastern United States will visit Harveys Lake and Dallas briefly on Satur- day, May 14, during a 11-day jaunt through Pennsylvania. The 42-year-old trolley system will be abandoned soon when the street car line will be severed to build the by-pass at Luzerne and buses will replace the system. Kingston Township School Board approved a motion to advertise a bond issue for $18,000 under the Mansfield Act. The money will be used toward the cost of a new building.
