League. The ‘‘Pennies for Back Moun- tain Baseball’’ fundraising project is being sponsored by the Kiwanis Club which has set a goal of at least 1,100,000 pen- nies in order to break a record set recently by a Rockland, Maine high school in a fund drive to raise money for a new playground. ~ The local Dallas Kiwanians hope to surpass that record and possibly set a new record for the Guiness World Book of Records.
