BRIAN FETT of Dorchester
Drive, Orchard View Terrace,
Dallas, spent a week at Ocean City,
New Jersey with a friend and his
family. The Fetts are recent
newcomers to our area. Brian is an
eighth grade student at Dallas. Mrs.
Fett drove to Ocean City to pick
Brian up. Hope this proves to be a
great vacation spot for them. Our
family has gone to Ocean City, New
Jersey, for the past 15 years, and
it’s our favorite vacation place, so I
really enjoy hearing other people
are going there also.

A BRIDAL PARTY ON
MOTORCYCLES - a beautiful bridal
gown, oops they are all wearing
gowns, there they go right up the
Dallas highway, free as birds,
breezes blowing in their faces,
happy faces, what an original
thought. Look for a story on this
motorcycle bridal party in this
issue. You may have seen the cycles
on Saturday as they rode thru our
town. Bow you’ll know who they
were.

I JUST HAVE TO COMMENT on
our telephone bill this month. It had
a total of 17, yes 17 sheets of paper
in the one monthly bill envelope. We
had toll calls amounting to 87 cents,
and our regular service charge.
There were 11, sheets of paper
showing the charges, all of which
none made any sense and 6 sheets
of junk (if you don’t consider the
other 9 duplicates as junk) for a
total bill of $16.45.
A year ago -at this time, we had
the same exact service, phones, etc.
as we do today and our monthly bill
was $7.75, plus tolls of course.
Now, someone please explain to
me the advantage of AT&T? All I
can figure out is someone has a
share in a paper company and we,
the consumer, are paying for it.
Why 17 sheets of paper in one bill to
show one month’s amount due. A lot
of waste for nothing.
