Look for a story on this motorcycle bridal party in this issue. You may have seen the cycles on Saturday as they rode thru our town. Bow you’ll know who they were. -(- I JUST HAVE TO COMMENT on our telephone bill this month. It had a total of 17, yes 17 sheets of paper in the one monthly bill envelope. We had toll calls amounting to 87 cents, and our regular service charge. There were 11, sheets of paper showing the charges, all of which none made any sense and 6 sheets of junk (if you don’t consider the other 9 duplicates as junk) for a total bill of $16.45. A year ago -at this time, we had the same exact service, phones, etc. as we do today and our monthly bill was $7.75, plus tolls of course. Now, someone please explain to me the advantage of AT&T? All I can figure out is someone has a share in a paper company and we, the consumer, are paying for it. Why 17 sheets of paper in one bill to show one month’s amount due. A lot of waste for nothing. -0- HAVE A SAFE AND FUN 4th of July weekend and remember there’s only one more week until the Back Mountain Memorial Library: Auction.
