Potzer. : : 0: IT WAS JUST LIKE TAKING A TRIP to the Emerald Isles for parents and friends enjoying the recent St. Patrick’s Day program held at Gate of Heaven School. Outstanding choral and musical ren- ditions of favorite Irish melodies, PRODUCED BY delightful dancing by lovely col- leens, a lively Irish jig and a play about Leprechaun shoemakers, pro- vided a program of pure fun. One of the nicest aspects of a smaller school like Gate of Heaven is the closeness of the families. Knowing the children makes any activity even more enjoyable. Special thanks to Sister Gracia, Mrs. Wojciechowski and the chil- dren for a truly fine program. REBECCA ROSKOS AND LORI CRAGLE, both students at Lake- Lehman High School recently repre- sented their school at Regional Chorus held at Northwest High School. Just to reach this level of compe- tition is a fine achievement. Congratulations, Rebecca and Lori. NOW THAT THE SEASONS ARE CHANGING, daily discussions in nursery school center around signs of spring, the first robin, a crocus popping up, pussy willows making an appearance. During one discussion, Kimberly couldn’t wait to tell me that when she and her Dad were outside, she looked up and saw eagles flying 675-0835 I naturally was a little perplexed. Eagles? Then it dawned on me. “Do you mean geese?’ I asked. “Ah, yes, geese,” ‘she replied, her sweet little face lighting up with a big smile. Teaching nursery school truly has its own rewards! -0- BEST WISHES TO MR. AND MRS. FRANK COOPER, Dallas, who observed their 50th wedding anniversary on February 23.
