They enjoyed many places of inter- est such as Epcot Center, Church Street Station, Rosie O’Grady’s Cheyenne, Sea World and many tourist areas in Orlando. The Backus’ also visited some relatives and had a great trip. -0- flew to Florida: and spent a week’ enjoying the sites. Their trip included Epcot, a. f also rented a car | so they could ” drive around and visit other places of interested. Pat and Pam visited with Pat’s grandfather who lives in Florida. She also needed surgery, is now recu- perating at home but will be wear- ing a cast at least six weeks. -0- PEG ANDERSON of Harveys Lake is home from the hospital, we wish her a year full of health and happiness. Daughter Marsha gave birth to their first grandchild and Grandma Helen hopped a plane -0- SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTER- DAY all these ‘first grandchild” people I’m, writing about were working with me, side by side, carrying babies as we worked on community projects for the Dallas Junior Woman’s Club. These babies we took along are now having babies of their own and these same mothers are right at their sides helping out. I just love being a grandma, as I know they all do, but gee, I just don’t feel like one, it is a good generation! I wonder if I'll feel the same when I have my first great- grandchild? Kingston Township Police Chief Paul M. Sabol reminds area resi- dents of the Kingston Township Animal Ordinance pertaining to dogs. According to the Kingston Township Code, it is unlawful for maintain a dog which disturbs the peace and quiet of any person resid- ing within 200 feet of the property boundary lines. Chief Sabol stated that complaints on barking dogs disturbing a resi- dential neighborhood will result in the owner of the animal being served with a copy of the Township Ordinance and a warning to correct the problem. Should the owner fail to take corrective action, a citation will be issued. The fine for violation of this ordinance ranges from $25.00 to $300.00. The Chief also reminds residents that the ordinance contains similar provisions and penalties for resi- dents who allow their dogs to roam free or unattended in residential districts. Each year the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spon- sors a “Keep Pennsylvania Beauti- ful Day” as the focal point of a concerted effort to clean an accu- mulation of litter from Pennsyl- vania’s roadways. The Kingston Township Board of Supervisors are co-sponsoring, along with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, a “Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Day”’ on April 26, 1986. p The PennDOT Maintenance Dis- trict will provide each participating group with an adequate supply of fluorescent orange vests for safety and as many trash bags as needed for the clean-up.
