oD "ROLAND SCHWARTZ Schwartz IS candidate Ronald (Rolley) Schwartz announces his candidacy for Dallas Township supervisor. He will seek the nomination of the Republican party in the May primary election. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., and ‘a graduate of the New York school system, Mr. Schwartz has resided in Orchard View Terrace, Dallas for the past 12 years. He served in the .S. Navy during the Korean War. e is employed at the Dallas Town- ‘ship Road Department. ~ Mr. Schwartz has had exposure in the construction field, formerly employed by George R. Taylor and Sons, Forty Fort. He is a member of the George M. Dallas Lodge 531 F&AM, and Cald- well Consistory, Bloomsburg; Dallas Fire Company; a member of the American Vecturist Association and a member of the Couples’ Club of the Forty Fort Methodist Church. Ronald Schwartz will be making his initial bid for the office of supervisor. His platform is ‘“‘main- tain a low tax base, and be willing to listen to the needs of the people of the township and assist them in any way possible.” He and his wife, the former Lois Jean Taylor of Forty Fort, have two ~ grandson, Jason. ‘One More Night’ The Dallas High School Junior/Senior Prom, entitled ‘One More Night,” was held Friday evening at Gus Genetti’s in Wilkes-Barre. Property located on Kidder Street below the Wyoming Valley Mall has been acquired and demolition of the former Aldino’s Manor will begin this week. Plans for the constrution of a multi-million dollar facility new dealership will have the most modern facilities for the sales and service of Chevrolets. The new facility will be able to serve the community’s needs for the sale of new and used: vehicles, and the service and parts departments are designed for fast and efficient service.
