Martha H. Reese, 126% Franklin Street, Dallas, has official announed her candidacy for Republican Jury Commissioner of Luzerne County; an office she held from 1978-82. Mrs. Reese recently received the endorsement of the Luzerne County Republican Exeuctive Committee based on her proven qualifications for Jury Commissioner. Throughout the county Reese is known as an active life-long Repub- lican. She is now a committee person serving the South District of Dallas Borough (a position held for 12 years), and the corresponding secretary for the Luzerne County Council of Republican Women. Reese is employed as a part time clerk with Weis Markets in Dallas. She has been associated with the firm for 13 years. Extremely active in community affairs, Reese is a member and past president of the Dallas Lioness Club and is also on the Scholarship Com- mittee of the Lioness Club. Collins of Wilkes-Barre has announced his candidacy for the Judge of Common Pleas Court in this coming Primary Election on both the Democrat and Republican tickets. District Justice Collins was first elected to the District Justice office in 1969 and again in 1975 and 1981 was re-elected to the same office on both the Democrat and Republican tickets. He is active in many organiza- tions. He is a member of St. Mary’s Church in Wilkes-Barre where he is a lector, choir, Committee on Social Justice and Pre-cana lecturer. He is also a top notch singer. Atty Collins is married to the former Karen Barnette and they are the parents of six children, Mary Beth, Jonelle, Michael, Patrick, Maureen and Matthew. Joseph Augello District Justice Joseph Augello of Pittston has announced his candi- dacy for Judge of Common Pleas Court in Luzerne County. He has filed on both the Democrat and Republican tickets. District Justice Augello has been a District Justice since 1975 of District 1-5 which takes in boroughs of Avoca, Dupon and Duryea and the City of Pittston. He served with the U.S. Army and he attained the rank of Captain in the United States Army Reserve. He is also active in many organiza- tions. Atty.
