Call 696-1033 By JOAN KINGSBURY Staff Correspondent Serving the best seafood is a tradition at Hottle’s Restaurant, 243 South Main Street, Wilkes-Barre. In fact, Hottle’s has been known locally for its fine seafood for 48 years. Jerry and Toni Passikoff own and operate Hottle’s. Jerry was chef and manager for 11 years at the restaurant before purchasing Hottle’s recently. In addition to his wife Toni, the staff includes day chef Bill Kravits, who makes all the delicious soups; night chef Lou Lillo; bar manager John Bowanko, assistant bar manager Jerry Lucas and head waitress Linda Rushton. A total of 34 employees assure Hottle’s patrons of fine service. The menu, which is 98 percent seafood, includes such specialties as fresh stone crab from Florida and fresh Maine lobster and Shrimp Scampi. Jerry stresses that all seafood is served fresh. Dessert favorites include Hottle’s homemade cheesecake. Hottle’s Restaurant is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 2 and for dinner Monday through Thursday 4:30 to 11; Friday and Saturday 4:30 to 12. Beginning March 31 Hottle’s will be open on Sundays from 1 to 8 for your dining pleasure.
