THE TERRIBLE FAMINE in
Ethiopia touches the hearts of many
people. The Outlet Free Methodist
Youth Group held a planned famine
recently where people sent dona-
tions which would be forwarded to
the American Red Cross.
The planned
famine was held
at the home of
Harry and Viola-
Rossman. Also
participating
were Ben Walter,
Wally Kocher,
Lawrence Killian,
Iva Killian,
Jacqui Bonomo, KINGSBU
Susan Dodson.
It’s so great to see young people
making an effort to help others.
Being sympathetic is fine, but doing
something to help is really what's
important.

VALENTINE’S DAY was a busy
one at Trinity Nursery School, with
parties and getting Valentine Bags
ready to go home. It was a nice
although hectic morning since the
children were so excited as they are
on holidays.
The highlight of my day, however,
was when one little boy calling my
attention to something he was con-
structing called me ‘Mrs. Wilkes-
Barre.”” He knew there was a
(bury) in my name, I guess Wilkes
just seemed like the right word to
go with it. Aren’t three year olds
sweet?
