(EDITOR’S NOTE: The third
grade students of Mrs. Mary Nulton
and the first grade students of Mrs.
Judy Roeder at the Dallas Township
Elementary School worked together
on a “Letters to Santa’ project.
The third grade used the letter
writing skills they learned in class
to write the letters for the first
grade. The first grade students dis-
cussed things to put into their let-
tersy before the two classes joined
ef . :
The children then mailed their
letters to Santa at the North Pole
who, after reading them, felt they
were worth sharing with readers of
The Dallas Post. Santa sent these
letters to The Dallas Post in hopes
they would be published after he
made his rounds on Christmas eve.
The children’s letters appear here
exactly as they were written. No
spelling or punctuation corrections
have been made.)
